Crank Issue - Slow Start When Warmed Up
My buddy asked if I could put up a post on his behalf...
He owns a 2012 IS 350. The car has been flawless up until recently. The starter cranks without any issues when cold, but once he drives and it sits for 1-2 hours, then attempts to start again it has a crank issue that lasts 6-8 seconds before the motor fires up. Battery was replaced, complete tune up and fuel injection serviced, but still no improvement. The car overall is in great shape, however the issue over time has been getting worse. Maybe a grounding issue? I would think a ground issue would stay consistent cold or hot? Starter?
I'm guessing someone here has a similar experience and already post about it. Hoping the CL community can point us in the right direction.
Thank you in advance.
