If you connect your GROM to Wifi or hotspot, you can run the software update feature and it will install the latest software/Firmware

I absolutely love mine. It's made my infotainment actually useful. One word of advise, if you are on a stable software/firmware build that doesn't have any issues, leave it there unless there are new features in the latest build

Hello,

I have successfully installed GROM on my car. But I have strange issue. Maybe somebody faced with similar behavior and can help me.
After installation I did first run by pushing MAP button for a while. It did open me GROM screen. All is good so far.
Then I stopped my car and after I started it again, and tried to open GROM same way. I got a message on car screen saying that "Audio player not connected" and no GROM screen opened.
Then I disconnected Battery and connected it back. After this procedure I got successful start of GROM again. But after stopping a car things repeated and GROM refuses to open again.
It is not normal and should be fixed in some way I think. Any thoughts about that?

You need to hit the Audio button (on the left, below the Climate button) to get to the GROM. The GROM is attached to the Aux-USB button below, so if it doesn't show up by hitting the Audio button, try hitting the Aux-USB button first

Hi,
Thanks for reply.
Seems like I do not have this button on cockpit. But maybe you mean button on multimedia screen?
Here is car cockpit:

Oh, that is a completely different layout, that is a newer infotainment system. I have a 2010 IS350 with the older screen
