Default Power steering

I've read most of the information posted here. My 07 is350 ps went out and I'm looking to purchase a new one. Is the 2021 ISF ps compatible with the is350? Haven't been able to find one. Side note I purchased a used ps and it didn't work at all. So I guess a new upgrade is worth the price.

Not sure if correct, but I think you may need to recalibrate the PSR if changed. Did you give that a try?

You will need to check if it is actually your EPS ECU that is the issue, as these don't go out very easily. Also if you buy a new EPS ECU, it will need to be calibrated by the dealer or by you if you have the proper cable and TechStream, you can see my post on that. The ECU you need to buy should be either what you have right now, or you can also use an EPS ECU for either an 08-2010 ISF or a 2011 ISF, but before you go this route I would find out if it is actually the ECU that's the issue here

Did you look at the fuse? If someone offers to jump these when a dead battery has you stranded, the first fuse to pop is the 80Amp one for the PS. Rare has a rack been replaced so I would start there vs new PS rack. And as others have shared, if the EPS ECU under the battery is replaced, it needs calibrating before a new one will offer power assist.

PS - the 80A fuse is under that clear cover behind the battery in the fuseable link assembly.

How do I determine if its the EPS ECU. Took it to a mechanic and they couldn't reset the code either after putting in the PS ECU I purchased.

As I mentioned, if it's new or has never been calibrated, it won't work and will throw a code. Take it to a dealer and have them calibrate it. Or buy a used one you know is working and already calibrated. See my post on ISF steering ECU, I have video links on calibrating it (cable and Techstream needed)
