Post Toyota parts that fit????

so, looks like i was sold an absolute **** of a car. i bought my is250 (2006 RWD) from a distant family friend--and went to go ahead and get it inspected by lexus themselves since said family friend just told me "it just needs a new cat and the noise will go away. i have the part you just have to pay for labor!" and was handed basically a long grocery list from the inspector. I'm trying to cut costs on everything parts wise since I'm more or less stuck with the car until I can get it to a trade-in(able?) state. I know some parts of a lexus can be interchangeable from the parent company Toyota but I'm not sure which parts from toyota would fit my lexus! So, dear reader, this is where you come in. I'm leaving a list of the most IMPORTANT nd EXPENSIVE parts on my list. If you could please please PLEASE help me find cheaper prices/the toyota equivalent I'll give you ALL my love. (p.s, sorry admins if this is the wrong place to post this! I tried looking around but I got confused, lol)

17410-31G70 (NY lexus dealer is giving me the price of 2438.68)
17140-31110 (NY lexus dealer is giving me the price of 1585.50)
89467-30020 (NY lexus dealer is giving me the price of 340.80)
89467-30010 (NY lexus dealer is giving me the price of 340.80)
89465-30730 (NY lexus dealer is giving me the price of 250.41)

Is this just a noisy exhaust, with a check engine light and the car throwing P0420 and/or P0430 catalyst efficiency codes? If so, I'd have the issue evaluated by a competent exhaust shop. Unlike the dealer, who appears to want to replace anything and everything with new parts, a good exhaust shop should be able to cut out corroded pipe, fabricate and weld in new, and see where you stand after that.

You can buy 4 new Denso oxygen sensors at RockAuto or online for less than $400.

As Bichon suggested, should first bring vehicle to independent service facility, and explain what issues you're experiencing, to try and isolate the cause ( loss of engine power / hesitation, noise / vibration heard from exhaust, rusted exhaust, is dash displaying any warning indicator lights (see attachment below), computer error codes generated). As primavera suggested, review RockAuto etc., for OEM part equivalents;

17410-31G70 Exhaust Pipe, Pipe Assembly (perhaps obtain from salvage yard / ebay / parted-out vehicle if needed)
17140-31110 Right Exhaust manifold assembly (For AWD vehicle / WALKER part 16635)
89467-30020 Right Front Oxygen Sensor (DENSO 2349058)
89467-30010 Left, Right Upper Left Front Oxygen Sensor (DENSO 2349051)
89465-30730 Right, Left Lower Rear Oxygen Sensor (DENSO 2344521)
89465-53230 Left, Rear Oxygen sensor (for AWD vehicle / Denso 2344518)

Watch some of Scotty Kilmer videos on you tube on how to diagnose and clean catalytic converters. You can actually clean them. Sounds like the owner didn’t use premium fuel and carboned up the intake and exhaust system. You may be surprised at how cheaply you may be able to fix this

also call a Toyota dealer parts department give them the part numbers and see what they can do. If they are crossover parts used in Toyota’s they will often be cheaper through a Toyota dealer. That’s what I have found

I've cleaned a catalytic converter about 10 or so years ago by soaking it in a solution. It's not that hard to do but what ended up being the real culprit was the downstream O2 sensor failed. Since then I've learned that in newer cars it's almost never the catalytic converter that fails but rather the downstream O2 sensor.

EDIT: I just want to add that on a family members Kia Sportage I replaced their catalytic converter. When I pulled the original one out, the actual catalyst material inside was rattling around. It turns out that the catalytic converter plugged up but they kept driving the car. What happens when you do this is it traps a lot of heat in the exhaust ports of the head and will burn up the valves. That's what happened to the family members car. After replacing the catalytic converter it still ran like crap and it turned out that the head was shot.
