IS250 Engine/Car Shaking
Whats up guys, after some pulls of driving in sport mode, some aggressive driving nothing too crazy (no banging the rev limiter or anything crazy), but after about 15-20 minutes I noticed my engine/car shaking a bit when sitting at
a stop light. Its somewhat subtle but def noticeable, my friend didn't notice but I felt it before and could tell the difference.. It almost feels like the engine wants to cut off, or like its slightly (super slightly stuttering to idle/run properly).
After a minute or so of driving to the next stop light, the check engine light started to flash. After pulling over and resetting the engine code area, then turning the car off and on, the vibrating/shaking immediately went away.
We drove the car home which was another 15 minutes or so and we drove normal and the car acted normal and fine no vibrating/shaking...
This happened to me a few days ago as well after doing the same thing, basically aggressive pulls, and flooring it here and there for about 15 minutes, but didn't last nearly
as long and no engine lights ever came on. I've had this car for about two weeks from a small dealer, no accidents or anything decentish maintenance and its at 106k miles..
Any thoughts, recommendations or similar experiences?

As 4GR FSE engine is DI only, the rough idle could be caused by a carbon buildup.
Some additional info here and this article also includes a way that dealership uses to test for the misfire.

1. Warm engine until temp gauge reads approximately in center between cold and hot.
2. Rev engine to 4,000 rpm for 30 seconds.
3. Immediately as you get to 30 seconds, run it up to 6,000 rpm very quickly and immediately release gas pedal.
4. Let it return to idle. If misfires are present, you will know by the unmistakable shaking or shuddering. You may not get misfires or codes the first time around, which is why dealers sometimes keep cars overnight to try what they described as a cold soak.
