Default Hawk Talon Rotors

Hey CL community. Right now Tirerack is having a sale on Hawk Talon Rotors. Does anyone have any experience with this brand or these rotors? Any feedback would be great!

Maybe the process of de-stressing metal is batter than it was years ago, but personally, I'd opt for slotted only vs drilled. Unless you really need to get rid of heat, its just not needed on a DD with this much brake area per rotor.

TireRack gave me an additional 10 percent off on the above rotors, so I went ahead and ordered them. I have to say their customer service is awesome. They called me to let me know that the front rotors are back ordered about 3 weeks. I appreciate the extra effort!

Default Another update!!

I apologize for the large time gaps between updates. But the lower intake manifold had been ported and made 5mm bigger than the what it was previously. So for anyone wonder how much bigger you can go, it's 5mm. I will post an update when the upper is ported as well . There is an is350 in texas that has had the entire intake manifold ported(upper and lower) as well as the throttle body. As far as how much , idk.

I think you accidentally posted this on my rotor thread. If I remember correctly, you have a build thread going for this already. People might get confused as to why your engine build is showing up in a rotor thread

Are those serious? It looks like they took slotted rotors to the next level, not one I'm ready to go to yet

F'g "related thread thing" has bit me a time or two. At least it remained in the 2IS chapter!
