It's been a few "fun" days trying to figure out what's wrong with my 2011 IS 350.
Keyfob doesn't unlock or lock, When you press the "start engine", you don't get anything. Doesn't go to "ON" stat if you don't press the brake. Doesn't show the "Key not Detected" either.
(The day after it broke down, the unlock and lock started to work again. When I tried to start the engine, the same exact thing happen as before. Later that same day the unlock and lock died again and still is as of today.)
All lights still work, dashboard lights also work. Plus the horn (yea)
Here are the things I've tried.
- Changed Keyfob Battery
- Jumped Car Batteries + tried a different battery
- Checked All fuses and relays (Both in hood and inside interior)
- Cry and pray tomorrow it fixes itself
At this point I'm thinking it's a problem with the "keyless entry module". Not even sure where's it's located.
But I wanted to get a second opinion before I went ahead. Does anyone have any idea why my car isn't working?

Do you have two fobs or just one? Did you try holding the Lexus label side of the fob to the start button and pushing it?
Obviously after so many failed attempts, you may need both feet on the brake pedal for it to depress enough to enable starting. Do the brake lights come on?
