Default Dpf won't regenerate.

Hi guys,

Only new to this as a member but have used it as a valuable source for a few questions that I was able to find the answer to on here. So thank you, even if I was quietly stalking in the background.

Have a pretty bad problem at the minute. The dreaded p2002 code has murdered me. I've gone through the process of cleaning the egr valve, this is the second time in 6 months, did the trick last time but not this time unfortunately. I can clear the code but after 1min of 2500 rpm the lights flick on again.

Cant get long enough on the motor way to get a burn. I got the car read today and tried to force a regeneration but car just wont do it. Didn't give any indication levels of carbon in the dpf, just said the car will not regenerate. They have said that the best option is to bypass the dpf. I know some are for it and some against it.

Its €450 to get the work done or €250 to remove the dpf and clean it.

has this happened to anyone that it wouldn't regen? What did you do?
