Angry ABS, VSC and the letter E on the cluster screen

This has probably been covered a plethora of times, but here we go.
My wife drove to work and when she got off of work she got in the car, started it and backed up about 5 feet. The car shut off and the cluster lights came on (VSC, ABS, EPS and there is the letter "E" in the cluster screen for the temp.) The steering is tight and the brake pedal is hard.
Has anyone experienced this before?
When hooking up the diagnostic tool to the OBDII port, the reader errors out.
I purchased the popular FIXD OBDII tester and it says low battery and so I charged the battery all day on Saturday, but it still will not start?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might clean the terminals and verify all that is in fact ok. After that, you need a DMM on there and see the battery voltage as things are turned on.
All off >12.5VDC
IGN on > 11.8VDC
CRANKING >10.6VDC

Does it crank but not start? Green start light come on? Need more details. Never heard of "E" on the display.

Does not crank and the button gives the green light when I press the brake.
On Saturday (1 week after it stopped running) I Checked the Oil Level and found it was a bit low and added 2 quarts. Still all those lights are on the cluster.
Both OBDII testers are giving an error and not testing. I will put the car back on the charger today and yes the terminals are clean.
See picture.

So you are not getting any communication from the OBD reader. If so look into fuel pressure sensor problems. You can try to disconnect it, and see if it will start.
