Hey everyone,
I have a 2007 Lexus IS250 and I need your help!
I originally had a P2757 code and had a gear slip from 1st to 2nd, along with shifting from P to D or R to D there's a 3-second delay followed up the car lurching forward. The gear slip from 1st to 2nd was resolved when I did the entire transmission solenoid pack along with a drain and fill.
Immediately after the service though, I noticed a new problem. When the automatic transmission downshifts from 5th gear to 4th gear it would not rev match automatically as it does on any other gear. It would hesitate and hover around the same rpm it was in 5th, than after a few seconds it would finally go into gear but with a jerk from the engine matching the rpm speeds. The weird thing is this only happens at lower rpm's, and ONLY if my foot is NOT on the gas. If I'm accelerating or say at speeds above130km(80mph) the car will downshift no problem and there is no issue. The second problem is 5th to 6th gear; Shifting from 5th to 6th gear I feel a delay.
I just wanted to get some opinions from people with the same car. Has any of you guys experienced something like this before?
Thanks!

This is just speculation, but if you've done all of this work, was there operating procedures to for the transmission computer to relearn the solenoids? or the ecu's needing to relearn things again. I'd assume it could be something like that. However I am not a mechanic and this is merely to add ideas.

I know with techstream you can modify the “response time” or “delay time” that the cars ecu is preprogrammed to delay. The options if I remember correctly were 0.0 seconds, 0.3 seconds, 0.7 seconds, 1.1? seconds.
my 2008 is250 at default was set to 0.3 seconds. Maybe yours is different / was changed in the past ?
