I second this, got one from roseville costco and I returned mine 2 times before I got the alternator changed, and with no issues plus they bump the warranty for the new battery as a reset for each one so thats a plus.
I'll pick one up soon from the San Jose costco, it's about 2 minutes from my work. You gotta love Costco. They don't do this anymore, but I once retuned a 4 year old vacuum that was used and abused. I mentioned to a Costco employee that I had a vacuum I bought years back from them that was giving me trouble, and he told me "bring her in! If it's in the system, we'll take her back". I even made a profit because I had bought it on sale but they only had the retail price in the system
