Hi everyone,
Quick question. I've been looking into installing a 2IS OEM Rear trunk lip on my 2006 Lexus IS250. I contacted the dealer to see what an OEM one would cost. They were unable to find an OEM rear trunk lip for my year, but they had the one for other years (2007+). This makes me think that maybe the trunk style changed or the spoiler wasn't offered that year.
Anyone here familiar with the model line enough to know this? It might just be that the 2007+ designs work fine, but wanted to make sure before I buy.
FYI here is a the link to what I mean on the Lexus parts site:

If the part fits, I was going to go ahead and get it installed. I just wanted to see if there was a discrepancy with the way the trunk was styled in 2006 compared to the other years.

The trunk is the same. You’re good to go. What installation method are you going with?

Professional - using a dealership to get it done since. Wouldn't typically spend that money, but my trunk has a hole in it that the spoiler would cover up. My car also has 88k miles on it so it's got a few more years left.

That makes sense. I have bought the replica from Ikon motorsports. Tape it on with 3M VHB tape and some 3M adhesion promoter and you’re good to go for like 120.00. Just wanted to share. But the dealership will of course do it the proper way
