ill pay the extra for the spark plugs from rock auto, but i rather not on something like those damn sensors, which i dont agree with their job to begin with, but that tire pressure light is driving me crazy
I haven't tried ebay tpms sensors (if they're significantly cheaper like 4 for 40 they are most likely fakes) but I would think they'd work fine. The risk associated with it is not even close compared to the spark plugs.

I agree with you that the whole tpms setup on this car is annoying and I'd rather not have them if it was possible to hide the warning lights so saving money here makes sense. Only thing I can think of is maybe the dealer won't put em on because they can tell that they're fake but something like Discount Tire will do it. I wish we had that chain in Canada its really hard to find a shop that can do Lexus tpms around here.
