Smoke from exhaust
I just replace my Maf sensor for IS250 2012, after replace the code still display the same message P102 & P113. After unplug the battery to reset the ECU, the code is gone and if I press the gas pedal for a period of time the code come back the same. I also experience the thin smoke with smell of gasoline come out from the exhaust. Do anyone experience this? Any suggestion how do I fix this issued?

HI,
The maf sensor bought straight from dealer. I measure the constant voltage (+B) & (THA) both show 12V & 5V. Also the VG (+1.3V) as I press the gas pedal the VG go up and Mag (G/s) increment, which show that my wriing is install correct and sensor is working in condition. I dont think there will be any other leak, since the vehicle was operate normal after I got vandalism that they access to my vehicle to stole my parts. They also steal my fuel pump relay, but I did buy the exactly on ebay to replace it. Is very rare for that relay to damage. Do you think that maybe the ECU not recognize the new part and need time to study it?

Unburnt gas from your exhaust could be an issue with your CAT or maybe O2 sensor. Was your CAT tampered with? Maybe they tried to remove it but didn't finish the job. My brother who lives in SoCal (Redondo Beach) had his CAT sawed off right in front of his house

I look through the vehicle dont see any issue with Catalytic converter. I really weird if my O2 sensor when bad, before the parts got stolen, the vehicle operate fine. Is there any way to tell if your O2 sensor is good or bad?

If you are getting a check engine light, you'll need a code reader to check the OBD codes being generated. Auto parts stores can run a diagnostic test

The only code that I received from OB2 is P102 & P113, which link to Maf sensor. The sensor already place with OEM part. I'm able to clear the code for the engine light is gone. The only problem I have now is thin smoke & smell of gasoline when I put car in idle. I thought the engine intake leak as well so I replace it and the result come out the same with the thin smoke and smell of light gasoline from exhaust.

If these codes are present, the CEL is lit and the ECM is running off from MAP making a best guess as to the actual flow and temperature of the air are. In this situation, it will default to running as rich as possible to prevent damage to the engine while minimizing damage to the CAT's. During this time, it is going to run rich and stink.
See what you can do to correct the CEL errors for the MAF. Sooner than later is best as it can damage the CAT's running rich.

One or more of the following would cause a rich fuel condition:
Faulty MAF sensor
Faulty O2 sensor
Faulty manifold absolute pressure
Faulty engine coolant temp sensor
Faulty fuel pressure regulator

I went to mechanic today and he checked, he told me that the engine fine and thin smoke it's common in cold weather. But I dont see engine light come up after reset ECU. Should I continued to drive until some other code come up.
