Voice guidance
Any one else have a problem with voice guidance? It just doesn’t understand what city or street. Sometimes I get lucky but usually she’s not even close.

You didn't mention what model year your IS is, nor is that info in your profile. Assuming that it's an '06-'09, you would have gen 5 navigation, and technology that was developed in 2005 when the most advanced phone you could purchase was a Blackberry. As an owner of an '06, I can confirm that indeed the speech recognition is not very good.
That said, I probably haven't used the built-in navigation in at least 5 years. Waze (or Google Maps) on my phone, with the turn-by-turn directions coming from the car speakers using the same Bluetooth dongle I use for music, works SO much better.
