i bought this off amazon, was told this works with my 2009 is250, got it tried to program it and it did not program, i called dorman to ask them if they are SURE it works for 2009 since in the packaging it says 2006-2008, and they assured me it does work its just thats a old packaging but this works with the 2009 model aswell i just need to have the old key (which i do) followed the steps but nothing. he tells me i prob have a defective unit and to return it to amazon.

Anybody had any luck with these key fobs?

I bought one last year. Worked like a charm! Took me a couple of minutes to program. Have not had any issues with it. I must say it is not as sensitive as the OEM key fob. At times it will not open the door until I take the key fob out of my pocket. Asides from that, no issues.
