Oil Consumption

Unfortunately I have two 5 quart bottles of Mobile 1 sitting in my garage. So next oil change I will buy another brand of oil. Someone on another message board recommended BG 109 Engine Compression Restorer to put in the oil. I have ordered it from Amazon and hopefully it will reduce the oil consumption.
Just keep in mind that all of these additives are meant to be added just before OCI.
This is hard to beat. Home Depot of all places. $20

I will be adding the ring free at my next fill up. Which oil do you recommend, castrol, pennzoil, synthetic or conventional?

Hate to revive an old thread but would like some advice.
'10 IS250 AWD, 211k miles. Bought from auction for $2k, turned out to be non-runner despite what the auction said. Found service history on Lexus owners which was only oil change every 10k miles. Finally, after four months I have it running. Just did one of the carbon cleaning services (the water into hydrogen gas through intake). Haven't even driven more than a mile yet but pouring white smoke out the back. Changed oil earlier with Mobil 1 5-30.
Should I take it out and rev it out? Change to a thicker oil for a few changes like above with Castrol GTX Ultra?

In general white means water (blue is oil, black is fuel). What did the procedure for the carbon cleaning say to do after completion? How's the coolant level? Don't change the oil to something thicker that is not recommended for Lexus engines. What does the oil cap say to use for weight?

The tech just said drive it, didn't need an oil change after. Drove it again around the block today. White smoke almost gone but just idling in garage smells like burning oil. Coolant good
Car wouldn't start when I purchased. Did a diy walnut blasting but couldn't get everything. Car finally running but still has issues ( squeaking when wheels spinning). Front axles lost all their grease, etc. Upstream bank one oxygen sensor not reading any voltage so I will swap it out. Car better but still has issues.
Oil is 5-30.

Must say I am a bit embarrassed now. Was just glancing through things this evening after dinner and noticed that the hose that goes into the vacuum switch (I think it's hose, fuel vapor 2 23827-31100) was not connected to the hard line at the other end.. The end of the hose at the switch has several layers of electrical tape around the end and it feels like chunks missing from hose when you press on the tape. I reattached the hose but will likely buy a new one because of the other end damage and the hose (as well as hose 1) are very dried out and probably not getting a good connection anyway.
Will fire up the car tomorrow but hoping this is the problem.

Is that an intake from an IS250? Mine has the valve connecting to the intake.
Hose goes from metal pipe down low below the intake tube, runs up to a valve bolted to intake manifold and then another hose that connects to intake manifold.
