Default Anyone tried the transmission pressure dial mod?

I've been searching to see if the A760E has a pressure dial like the A650E does (for 04+ LS430 purposes). It's a common mod for the 5-speed LS/GS/SC guys. Just a small bump in line pressure to make the shifts faster and firmer. I've done it on my GS400.

I haven't seen any results come up for people that have tried it on the IS/GS350s or any other A760E-equipped vehicle, but according to this thread the dial is there. You can see it on the far right in the bank of solenoids.

This is the thread that shows the mod on the A650E.

Anyone done it or even knew about it?

I've asked this question multiple times. I'm not sure if anyone has done it.

Coming from the transmission shop experience, there is a trade off for this.

Pros:
Somewhat quicker shifts.
Firmer shifts.
Less clutch slip, less heat from friction related slip. .
Greater thrill factor..
Gear change tire chirps. Usually takes a kit vs that dial.

Cons:
Trans temps as a whole increase as the front pump is doing more work.
Increased clutch disc wear at the hub (splines).
Increased shock loading.
Increased Sprague clutch loading.
Increased service intervals.
Drive train shock increases.

Tradeoffs:
Minimal pressure bumps may not impact these items. If racing or towing where the demand/load increses, yes, bumping the line pressure can prevent clutch damage. Clutch slip is often the killer of autos if mechanically sound.

I was in that industry for 6 years. Those are just a few of the things that come to mind.

I would imagine that the transmission is designed to operate just fine with the pressure adjusted via the dial since it's a factory option and they wouldn't have included it without testing.

Causing damage with a not-factory-sanctioned valve body mod or kit is definitely a concern.

My A650E is maxed out with the dial, and if there was any transmission that should've blown my now it's mine. But it feels fabulous, and I'm not exactly a grandma on it.
