Hi everyone, I would love to replace my 2007 lexus is350 climate control with that china after market headunit, but before that, how is the sound quality? (my is350 got mark levinson premium sound audio system) Is it the same or reduces the sound quality? Thanks

im not sure about this one, I’ve had a Phoenix automotive one installed for a year now (Tesla screen) got it for 500$ has the climate control in it and I must say it was worth the investment
I would really look into a GROM VLINE VL2. You don't have to change your headunit, it adds the ability to natively run Android apps on it like Google Maps, and also supports Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. Did I mention it works with your existing infotainment system? If you want to know more about it, just click on the link in my build profile (link in my signature), I also have a pretty extensive thread on it which I link to in my build
I am also curious about the quality of this one as well. I know that the previous version (without the extra buttons) had sound and radio station issues according to what I read in this forum. I want to know if this one is good because I want to buy it, however, I hate the extra buttons! lol
I've never heard of Kunfine so I wouldn't recommend them, meaning I don't think their very well known. However, both Phoenix Automotive - https://phoenixautomotiveinc.com and Grom Vline are well known brands. Phoenix Automotive has a good history of supporting their products and continuing firmware development to solve issues and upgrade features. I would strongly recommend going with either of those solutions.
I have an IS250 but I don't plan to keep it longterm so I'm going to stick with the factory Infotainment system and just upgrade the Amp and speakers (which I can do myself so not terribly expensive investment). But if I did decide to change it I'd go with one of them.
