@GrizzlyMan if you order LCAB, get the RC-F components.

Question, the pieces you cut off, those were to reach forward under the car, yes?

Yes, on the IS350, at least on mine, where the extension end goes (ear hole), is hollow under the chassis.

I took the grommet out and inserted a long screwdriver to check if there was a thread underneath, none, just a metal curved plate part of the chassis. The piece sold by Figs does not have the metal extension.

Put the grommet back, proceeded to cut the extra piece. Cleaned the rough edges with a file and gave it a quick spray to minimize rust.

I have done some spirited driving, parts still holding well, and no scraping. FYI my car is F-Sport '12 trim, just for reference. One recommendation is to replace the long bolts for the cross section bar, the MR are junk, one snapped and part of the bolt stayed in the thread. Took a while but manage to take it out. Also recommend to use washers on top of the built-in washers (factory) bolts of the small two pieces. They are not too wide and sensed the bolts were caving in in the brace holes.
