Damn, I spoke too soon. They just sent me an email to cancel my order for the Lowering Springs:

Just placed an order with Discount Parts Monster using a Coupon Code they sent me. Crossing my fingers...again. Not very hopeful as I can't even find them on Ebay. So unless the Springs for the 2014 thru 2017 models work on the 2IS, I may be out of luck

My solution to your other dilemma is that I'm going to give my IS to my son as a gift. My son just got into UC Santa Cruz. He's only 17 now but when he turns 19 it's his, then I'll be going on the hunt for a 4th gen GSF (2016 through 2018)
Thinking about just playing with my Exploder if I get rid of the IS, maybe a tune, rear sway bar..... Although, if a GSF comes my way at a reasonable enough price.....

IIRC, the old 80 part number was superseded by PTR07-53091 because, if iirc, there was a clicking noise issue on the 80s on the rear springs. Not sure what part number you ordered. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...0-14-09-a.html

If they don't come through though, there's LexusPartsNow. Otherwise, I think Swift's springs are nearly identical to the F-Sport springs, although it's a 1" drop.

The part number I ordered is PTR07-53090. 53091 states that they are only a pair of Rear springs. Now I'm confused 🤔...

^^ just don't make a mistake with lexuspartsnow as there CS sucks!
I should post the 800 number, calling it, you'd think you were being pranked as it's like a series of 7 questions times 10 sets, (20 min) until they direct you to another number that does the same thing. Followed by, tell us the name of the business you're contacting. Sorry we didn't find that business. Lol

It GOES LIKE:
Over 50? Press #7, otherwise Press#0, insure a car, have young drivers, do you take prescription Rx, are you divorced, need a lawyer, blah blah blah... it goes on for ever. And I used to order parts from them. Never again.

And IF you push any other button than what they list, you start over... To bad they outlawed apps that record stuff. It's pure BS at PHD level (Piled Higher & Deeper). Don't say we didn't warn you!

No plans to buy from Lexuspartsnow. I'm hoping Discount parts monster comes through. The order for the Springs is still in "pending" status

Right now a lower mileage 2016 GSF is running plus $40k, I have a feeling prices are heading up due to the IS 500 release

Prices are skyrocketing on all used cars, like, outrageous out of this world. In YT many are recommending to hold on probably until the winter.

I'm not buying anything in at least the next 2 years. I plan to wait until my son is 19 and is in his second year of college, then I'll start hunting for a GSF. Until then, I'm holding on to my IS350

More bad news. I just got an email from the Ebay seller who I bought the F-Sport LF shock from:

According to his listing, he has 10 available and that's the reason I bought from him. His Ebay listing is completely misleading because it turns out these are shipped directly from a dealership and he doesn't keep them in stock. It looks like F-Sport suspension is not in going to be in the cards because the set of 3 (Right front and rear) arriving tomorrow will be useless, I doubt I will even be able to return them

Hmm, I've ordered from OEM Vehicle Parts before. You can try this guy. He e-mailed me when I had the F-Sport struts in my cart saying he could offer me a deal on the shipping costs probably a year ago, didn't take advantage of it though because I'm pretty sure Bell Lexus had the whole kit for cheaper + free shipping. https://www.oemvehicleparts.com/oem-...ock-ptr1353094

Problem with most of these websites is they're nearly all the same and just get the parts from the dealers directly. I wouldn't be surprised if they're all ran by the same group of people.

I don't know much about coilovers, the last car I drove in that had them the suspension was way too stiff. What would you recommend?

It looks like I won't be installing F-Sport suspension or lowering springs as I also got an email from Discount Parts Monster as well saying the dealership has to place a special order. You can't order something that they don't make anymore. Tomorrow RF and rear shocks are coming, but without LF I can't install them. I'm stuck here because Bell Lexus will probably charge me at least shipping to return the three shocks

You could try searching for GS F-sport springs. Looks like it has the same part number.

Can also consider the 80 series for the left front shock. Not sure what the difference is. Seems like someone mentioned some clicking]Can also consider the 80 series for the left front shock. Not sure what the difference is. Seems like someone mentioned some clicking
