Steering locked
Hi, I have a 2007 is250 manual, heater assembly behind the dash was broke so had to remove the dash and steering column to access the heater assembly and replace it, I had to remove the wiring behind the dash and I have everything plugged back in and put back together but the steering wheel is still locked and will not release so the car won’t start everything else is working ignition is on radio lights windows sunroof everything works but car will not unlock the steering so it will not start for me... just wondering has this happened before to anyone and if anyone has a solution... also I tired disconnecting the battery for half hour to try reset the car and no change thanks

I'm not certain this is your answer and I'm headed out the door but there is an OBD jumper wire trick that performs a handshake with the ECM using known functional fobs.
Do search in this forum for handshake and initialize ECM/ECU using OBD Port.
Did you try placing the fob against the start button? Does it turn green?
