Default Are FSport sway bars worth it for street driving?

As the title says, I'm wondering if FSport sway bars are worth it if I don't track the car.

They're running a free ship + 17.76% off at Bell Lexus that ends today so I'm debating on grabbing them or not (already grabbed the Fsport intake for $250 shipped).

Also, if you have the FSport brace, worth it? What was a better upgrade, the brace or sways?

Bars and IS-F steering ECU are highly recommended for DD. It's makes it what it should have been. Follow this w good tires and it makes it more playful and predictable.

Do you know if the discounts listed are as good as it gets? Are do they get lower around the holidays?

Sway bars are an excellent upgrade for the IS and will make the daily drives more enjoyable.

I recommend getting the F-Sport rear under chassis brace once you've upgraded both the sway bars and springs/shocks to your car.

Damn, I'm late to the party again! The answer is a resounding YES! See my thread on adding the F-Sport Sway bars: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-question.html
Also Rear Chassis Brace: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/bui...-thread-4.html

If you go through my build thread in my signature, there are a bunch of mods I did that make this car so much better

Do you like to corner hard a lot? If you drive your DD like a normal person I dont think it is necessary. If you just want a better performing car and to make things better, upgrade away!

A few weeks ago, I had front and rear F sport sway bars installed into my 350C. It cost me an arm and a leg...

I don't drive the car too hard but I wanted to upgrade for the hell of it.

Was interested in knowing if it was part PTR02-53082 that you had ordered.
Unfortunately, appears Bell Lexus is currently only offering free shipping with purchase over $100.00 (used to be $75.00).

Was it worth it?

I push mine at speed often. Completely worth it...

When I drive my SO's Highlander on road trips it drives me nuts that I'm constantly making itty-bitty steering inputs every 250 microsecond. The F-Sport or IS-F steering ECU make that go away for the base model 250/350... highly recommend people buy them.

DD - get the F-Sport EPS ECU. 81 or 82.
Spirited driving IS-F EPS ECU. 41 or 42.

Thanks 2013 FSport. What does the 81 or 82./ 41 or 42.represent? Also, is there a specific F-Sport model year ECU recommended for a non IS F / IS 35 F Sport (2008 base IS 350 with Sport Suspension) vehicle, 2010 - 2012 perhaps?

Those are part numbers for the model years. For example, 41 is for a 2011 ISF and 42 is for a 2012 ISF. They both work for 2006-2013 2IS

F-Sport 89650-53082
IS-F 89650-53041 or 42... the 42 is the latest greatest but will cost you more. The 41 is pretty good. I'm running that one.

Do a search on those PN's and there is plenty of reading and input on how it improves the cars response...

The 2011 - 2013 F-Sport share several suspension components with the IS-F, the sway bars and the IS-F EPS ECU allow you to push it more in the corners before the nannies kick in.

Understood, thanks 2013 F Sport. Any of the PS ECU's below can be installed in 08 IS 350 with sport tuned suspension without issue REGARDLESS OF TIRE SIZE 18" VS 19" (other than having it calibrated after installing);
89650-53020 - 2006 - 2009 IS 250 / 350 (base) ALREADY INSTALLED
89650-53082 - 2011 - 2013 IS 250 / 350 with Sport suspension.PS MODULE
89650-53041 - 2010 - 2012 IS F PS MODULE
89650-53042 - 2013 - 2014 IS F PS MODULE

That looks correct! ^^
IMO the biggest difference between 53082 module I pulled out and the 53041 module I put in, is when switched to ECT PWR, you can get the tail loose without the nannies clamping the brakes or correcting your steering angle allowing you to drift a good bit while firming up the wheel input to minimize oversteering inputs.

Of the other 2IS's I've driven, I was annoyed that highway driving required a constant need for micro-inputs to go straight and had little to any feedback. Either of the above EPS modules will correct this.

Was it worth it? Not really...I dont use the improved cornering enough to car.
The parts were like $450, the labor was like $600. absurd!

Do I regret doing it? Nah. I am fine with wasting some money for something I dont really need every once in a while.
