This bar I think only over lays on the existing rear stamped steel. It probably won't do much compared to the F-sport.

I have a set. Yet to be installed though. I didn’t get the front brace.

I also have an uninstalled set. The forward mounts on the two bent braces go forward of the subframe connection point and attach directly to the floor pan of the vehicle. You will need to provide your own hardware (nut and bolt) at that forward attachment point. Best I can tell, the big bolts that come with the kit are for attaching that cross bar to the same points that the F-sport brace picks up, and the small bolts they provide are for the two bent braces to attach to the subframe itself. Those forward mounts for the bent braces are just holes in the sheet metal plugged by rubber...should be able to knock the big plug out to fish your hardware around inside the blind hole.

Thank you guys.I have a friend who has the JUNTW rear bar because Fsport doesn’t much to European IS because of the difference in the tank compared to yours. He told me he notice a big difference in handling only when he installed the fsport chassis brace.

Is JUNTW out of business now? I couldn’t find their website a few weeks ago. I may end up ordering the Fsport chassis brace and sell the Megan pieces. But Figs recently developed some bars similar to the Megan pieces. I trust their judgment in creating new, proven products, so I’m sure there’s some rigidity provided by them.

I trust figs with anything they come up with. I also trust ultra racing for suspension braces for this generation of IS. I have all of their braces and the before and after comparison is just mind blowing.
