Can I get some "serious" comments on what may be going on here for cylinder 3... causes, fixes, etc.

Vehicle is currently in limp mode... and may/may not be related to this issue as there are other issues.
However, would this issue prompt the computer to enter limp mode?

Also, best way to exit limp mode is...???

2007 IS250 RWD.

Look like the gasket for the plug might need to be replace. Just my guess

Not much you can do for limp mode on this. Since it's probably running on 5 cylinders. You could probably clean the coil boot outter, and inner with some CRC electronic cleaner. Remove the plug then clean it also along with the inner spark well. It's only a matter of time as it will fill up with oil again. Like mentioned already it looks like a failed spark tube oring.

+1, the valve cover gaskets usually come with the spark plug o rings, do both at the same time.

It happened to my 2006 IS350 too. I had my valve gaskets and the sparking plugs gaskets ring replaced 2 days ago
