dome light fuse constantly blowing
So noticed today that no dome lights were working in any position so i popped the hood and replqced the 10amp fuse, blew 5 within 5 minutes. . I do believe i may have traced the culprit down two passenger side kick panel light or under the carpet on the right apron/rocker there is a ground. I did some repairs that required welding in that area so after the repair was done ( torque box) i had to sand, prime, and paint the floor section. There is a little bit of paint on the ground wires ( 3 white) and two wires are a little slit open where bare wire is exposed but the wire it self appears to be in full contact. Anyone know of the proper way to fix this. Do i cut and splice new wire with new ground? Taking the girl down to south carolina thursday from newyork just dont want no problems. Thanks in advance

Fixed it. Remembered I shoved a tire in the trunk when I put new ones on wend, unplugged the trunk light and it’s fixed, tiny bit of an expose wire. will shrink wrap everything.
