Default Several dashboard lights on, but car runs ok

So the step-daughter calls me and says all of the lights are on in her car and the steering is a little stiff. I tell her to stop by after work and the car sounds fine...other than all the lights being on. Both the battery and alternator tested fine, the alternator was replaced by Lexus last year. Nothing seems out of sorts under the hood, possibly a pulley? When I tried to run a scan, I didn't get anything back from the reader. So not sure what's up. Maybe p/s going out? Hopefully someone can give me a clue. Next step is to drop it off at the dealer.

Highly suggest that you first disconnect the battery and then reconnect. A reset if you will. Then see if some or all of the indicators go away. Good luck.

Well mandyfig, that did the trick! All lights GONE! The kid stops over after work and before I check the fuses I decide to disconnect / reconnect the battery...and what do you know nothing shows up?!? So I'll monitor it for a while and let you know if something changes. Thanks again!!!

I'd recommend stopping by a local parts store to get the battery load tested.

Thanks Mike! The battery and alternator were replaced by Lexus last year. I did check them with a multimeter and they looked good. I'll keep you posted if it returns!
