Great news. Dare we enquiry about parts and labor?
You might connect the dots... i.e. cross link both threads.
On a separate note, I saw a white F-Sport w the surround around the fog lights painted white. Just a minor touch making it unique.
If I end up w USB paint, I may do the same.

I like the paint around the fogs. I might have to check this out!

Cheaper than a new car, that's for sure! She's definitely a beauty at 300K plus. Damn these engines are amazing! My 2006 Camry SE (3.3L V6) is still running like new after 15 years and 168K, I trust it enough where my daughter drove it to SoCal to attend UC Irvine. I plan to hold on to my IS350, at least for now...

Way to keep her alive and well. I want the face lift so bad. Makes the 2is look that much nicer.

I personally want to keep the stock look, while improving the insides (handling, steering etc). I'm thinking very soon the IS350 is going to go away replaced by an IS F-Sport with a 2.0L TT. That might make this car worth something one day

love the face lift but I really love the look of the 2nd gen. In a few years it’ll end up being more rare to see on the road. As is right now, I rarely see 2nd gen IS350 on the road.

Kudos my friend, this is a clear example what doing proper and proactive maintenance does to the life of the car.
Like I said before, just by looking at the pics to me it is a usual low 100k car, until there is the odometer photos showing 350k+, amazing it is.
I believe you about been rare. I pulled over at a Acura dealership to check out the new Type S, just cruising by and within seconds there were people asking if I was trading in the car so they wanted to buy it before it was even advertised fo sale. I had to contend my smile and humbly respond it is a keeper, thank you.
So when they replaced the primary cats it was headers and all because it is one piece, correct? or was it secondaries?

Thank You. My plans are to see where the engine is at, at 450k. I suspect it will be just as tight as it is now. None the less, found a good machine shop that can tear it down and rebuild it if necessary.

I see a lot of 2nd Gen IS, but majority are IS250's. Even more rare is the IS350C. With 3rd gen also a lot of IS250's and 300's. I've wanted one since they came out but didn't want to pay $40k for a new one. Than this one came along in 2019, low miles (52k) and one owner that took care of her. I bought her and put my 2018 Civic Si for sale the same day. With cars like these going away, I'm going to keep it in the family, next year I'll give it to my son
