Question Rear Windshield Defrost Problem

Winter Season is starting in eastern USA. When I was defrosting my 2IS, I found that this is the defrost pattern in the rear windshield (pictured below). Is this something I can repair myself or will I have to get the windshield replaced? I don't thing this is the regular defrost pattern.

The band at the top is normal, those wires are the FM radio antenna, not the rear defroster. As for the lower part of the glass, I can't tell whether there is a problem, or if you just didn't wait long enough for the ice to melt.

Thanks @Bichon , I didn't know the top band was the FM Radio Antenna. This was defrosting for about around 8 minutes. When I'm driving it eventually does defrost everything, but I thought that might be the car heat from the inside.
