My key fob flashes red when I press the lock/unlock button on it. I thought it was a low battery ( although car never showed low key battery indicator on dash) so I put a new battery. The key still flashes red when I press on it and it doesn’t work. Anyone know why?

See if this fuse is under the hood box. The OP apparently was stating the same symptoms you're describing.

Inside the cabin, it flashes every 10min or something like that. Red on the remote is normal when the button is pushed.

Place it next to the start button and see if pushing brake and stand allows the engine to start? Let's us know if car recognizes that fob.

As Mike suggests, you might want to look at fuses. Two panels under the hood and drivers foot well. It will be some small fuse less than 15 A....
