Hello,
I am having some issues with my 2007 is350. Last week i went to start the car, pushed the button and all the lights came on, on the dash. The gauges did the sweep. After about 5 seconds the car finally cranked over and started. The next two days it atarted with no problems. Pushed the start button and it started like normal. The third day i went to leave for work and i could not get the car to crank (start). All the lights come on, everything electronic works, windows, radio, dash, etc. Still no crank. Its been a week and i've replaced the battery, replaced the key fob battery, checked all the fuses, tried some Lexus key fob tricks like putting the key up to the start button, closing all doors and waiting 15 mins. Did the unlock/lock sequence to try to reset the key fob and nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Does the Green push to start button light up?
And just to confirm terminology; cranking = engine spining over but not starting. You're saying, it doesn't spin over or spins (cranks) but does not run.

What condition were the battery cables in? The negative cable is literally about a foot long, and just connects to the body behind the battery. If that has corroded, that could cause some of the symptoms you are describing.

The terminals looked good. I cleaned them up just in case. I will check for any corrosion on the opposite end of the cable and see if thats the problem. Thanks again for your help

Checked battery cables and terminals. All looked fine. Nothing loose or corroded. I dont understand how one day it works and then the next, nothing.

With the aid of another, open the hood, pull the fuse box cover, place your finger on the purple relay. Have a helper try the start sequence. Do you feel and hear the relay click?
After this, you need test equipment. Like a DMM and a 12volt test lamp. Get those and we'll see what we can do.
Also, I'd remove the battery terminal connections. Inspect the contact area and reassemble. Negative first and Negative last.
