Default NEED HELP Aftermarket screen 06 is250 factory nav

I purchased this unit 2 months ago and I have been working with the support team in china for the whole time.

Amazon Amazon

Everything EXCEPT the A/C controls is working fine. The backup cam, wifi, Android Auto, fitment, hazards, everything works fine. Except I can not get the A/C controls to work at all. The A/C fan will blow but I have no control over it at all.

If anyone has had any success with this unit in a car with factory nav to being with let me know what you did to get the A/C working. I want to get the car back on the road. Thanks in advance.

I'm planning a similar upgrade, but with carplay. I'm hoping you can get yours to work, and I'm interested if anyone else has installed this one of any other plug-and-play head units that just work right out of the box?

Best Bet Search the forums. I remember seeing something about needing the correct Can bus adapter.

Here's a video of what's happening:

I have spent days on the forums searching and haven't found what I need to solve the problem.

looks like these wires don't even line up properly. the one on the right is the one from the HU the one on the left is the one from the car.

What does "no air " and "no air amp" mean in the setup? Maybe try the other one?

I'm intrigued to see how this pans out.

We have an 06, with nav, and I was looking at the same HU.

There is a little info in the ad- and even in some of the comments. Have you tried a new unit bu chance? Some reviews basically said that it seemed the unit had the wrong firmware and swapping it out fixed the problem. There's also some comments about ensuring the correct car is selected.

I have to say, the support team has been great, even though none of their suggestions have solved my problem. We have reset, changed settings, updated firmware. They sent me a new canbus decoder, and wire set.

The next step is a big one, on one of the canbus decoders, they want me to change out one of the chips. I'm going to desolder it and resolder it. Should be interesting. Hope it solves it.

Still intrigued. I plan to purchase from Amazon via Prime in the next month or so and fully plan to return IF there are issues... if the product doesn't function as advertised then I consider it a problem with the product.

Has anyone tried installing this in a non-nav vehicle? I wonder if all the plumbing is there?
