Default Help! Is250 electrical problems

Hey guys,

I have been having problems with my 2010 is250 awd. Something is wrong with my electronics because my afs light flashing, my steering wheel dosent retract on its own anymore, my digital clock is faded, and my car won’t lock or unlock unless it’s on power or started. Does anyone what the issue could be? Thanks

maybe try pulling the fuse #17, that’s located underneath your steering wheel. That’s the AFS fuse as I just read the other day. Maybe it might help?

i have a rwd is250, so technically am not sure if it’s the same for awd is250

Ive tied that method. The afs light did go away but everything else is still the same. Still having same problems.

Test the battery and check ground wires.

Well, all electroluminescent displays fade over time. It's working, so...

As for the locks, this could be another case for the MPX-B fuse. Take a look. Its under the hood.

The OP indicated a difference between a running engine and not. That is why they should do what I suggested.

"my digital clock is faded, and my car won’t lock or unlock unless it’s on power or started"
