I am not sure if it is a bug or something more serious in the last year since owning my 06 is350 the ECT light pops on the first time was last summer in the extreme heatwave I reset it , then this year around a week ago it did the same thing but the weather is pretty normal so I drove around for a while didn't notice anything si I reset it again.
on a different note there has been a couple of time when I start my car and it just stalls but then when Iretry it fires up. I am not sure if it is because I had turned on the acc a few times then turned them off to open or close my windows

instead of resetting all the time did you manage to pull a trouble code?

I think it was 7e8 or 7e9 both times I wrote it down some where
