That's standard as my IS250 shows the same around 1-2 ticks to left of center. So it seems the thermostat was the culprit? How fast does it reach that level now?

As mentioned before if 6:00 o'clock is straight down, its always at 630 645. Just as in your last picture or this one. Even though at the time it was taken, it was 36° F outside.


That's what D is saying, this is normal. It sits here 100% of the time, never straight down.

Yeah I guess the thermostat is the culprit. It took about 10 minutes to reach and stay there. The OBDII scan read 177.8 degree:
