Hi, hope you guys are doing well. I have this weird issue with my car. when i am driving, while accelerating, exactly at around 1400-1500 rpm, i hear this rough sound. it sounds like bad bearing/minor rattling. as soon as i go above 1500rpm or below , the sound goes away. the sound doesnt increase or decrease at different speeds and only comes while in gear and moving. the sound is coming from the front of the car. the gear shifts properly. i checked the exausts, everything is snug. Do you guys have any idea what it could be. it will be a big help. thanks

 

Double check exhaust shields, they tend to make buzzing sound in older vehicles.

If you manually hold 3 different gear selections and keep the RPM at 1500, does it make noise then?

Audio would be most helpful.

 

The noise stays consistant in every gear. I tried break boosting and the noise only comes at 1500 rpm. if i shift gears at higher rpm, there is no noise. i will share the audio.
