What is this part and the sensor (below the 1 in picture)

The thing directly below the “1” It has the wire coming from it

Are you referring to the oil filter housing? The sensor wire next to it is the oil pressure sensor.

More specifically the low oil pressure sensor. It lights up the dash if oil PSI is below 7 or 10 or something like that.

OP did you damage it during a belt change or is that just a reference photo?
