I am just curious if anyone with a 2006-2008 with over 250,000 miles and still running. I have a 2007 with about 170,000 miles and once in a full moon my car will stutter on a red light but nothing too crazy.
I just hit 89,000 today. 2008 IS350 I took her home Oct. 5th, 2007…
But I’m sure somebody out there has to be over 250,000. That’s a lot
of time in the saddle…. I think I’ll keep mine until the end…. Very strong
car!
Yeah, I'm curious since its a 16 year old car I want to hear people story if anyone reached over at least 200,000 miles and how's the car holding up. I am more curious with the 06-08 model of the IS250 as they're the one with the carbon buildup problem.
Bought a neglected 08 IS350 @150K and replaced all essential-only parts. She is now my daily driver and planning to keep her for at least 10 more years. I can't believe I'm saying this to a 15 year old car but she is well built even she was neglected.
Hoping that the transmission can hold up to at least 10 more years of daily use.
These are reliable cars, minus the 250's carbon build-up issues anyways. Besides the water pump, alternator, and fuel pressure sensor, I haven't needed any major repair in 185k miles on my 350. Only issue I'm dealing with now is the clear coat is starting to fail, but that's likely because it's been out uncovered in the hot Louisiana sun its entire life. That sun is just a straight up killer, it's so bad that my window tint is starting to peel in a few places.

Which engine?
There's a 350 owner with >325,000 mi. Highway miles make this easy. 250,000 city miles are another story.
