Default Rear driver's window is not working.

Car: 2006 IS250

As I was about to pull off I hit the rear driver's window switch. It went all the way down and then came back up about halfway. Then I did the following:

1. Pressed down and held it about 10 seconds (window went down and stopped there)
2. Pulled up and held it about 10 seconds (window went all the way up and stopped there)

Then I tried to lower the window again and it didn't respond. I don't hear any sound of it even trying to work either lowering it or raising it.

Help.

All other windows work at their door AND the drivers door main switch?

When was it last fully functioning?

Sorry for the delay. All other windows are working from the driver's switch and their own switches. The problem window does work from its own switch just not the driver's main switch.

I thought you’re supposed to press and hold the switch for around 4 sec. Maybe holding it for 10 sec. burned the switch?

It might not have been 10 seconds, but it was several seconds. Isn't there some weird scheme for programming the windows behavior?

If all the other windows work but not that one, try the drivers door at different angles of open. If no change, open the drivers door fully and grab the pass through covered harness and move it around and try again.

Maybe disconnect the battery and redo all of them. I only hold a 2 seconds each each after they stop.

Does the auto up and auto down work from the window's own control? Or does it stop as soon as you release the control?

Just to finally follow up on this. I had to get my battery replaced so I went through the process of reprogramming all my windows and the problem window is working now. Thanks for the suggestions.
