Default Do the OEM brakes still squeal?

Need to do a brake job in the front and am currently contemplating whether I should still go OEM or not. Currently running a fully OEM brake setup all around and they squeal like crazy regardless of temperature/weather. The brakes were put on back in 2017, so I was wondering if the issue has been fixed since then (since I’ve heard something about a TSB floating out there). Here are the part numbers I’m planning on picking up:

43512-22261
43516-22011
Front Rotors

04465-30500
Front Pad Set

04945-30350
Front Shims Set

OEM of course is fine; but I and many members on the forum here have had great luck with PowerSlot/Centric rotors paired with Akebono ceramic pads. This combo can be had for < OEM too!

OE is fine but they dust so much, and yes they are noisier as well. they do perform very well however; marginally better than akebono from my experience.
i still prefer akebono (run them on all my cars/trucks) just for the fact it dusts so much less but they don't have that same initial bite that OE pads do!

Yeah I've seen people mention those on the forums, would you happen to know any part numbers?

+1 for Centric Rotors and Akebono Ceramic Pads. It's been working great for a year no noise, no issues, good braking, low dust, cheaper than oem

I bought from RockAuto and Amazon

You must be talking about the "high friction" OE pads; because the "low dust" pads are not something I'd recommend at all. But yes, the high friction OEM pads are good, but for the amount of dust they put out, I'd rather go with the Akebono ceramics.

OE low dust pads are noisy, esp when cold. I've used them for my last few brake pad changes.

Running these on the 350. No squeak and no dust.

Part No.: 04465-30500PAD KIT, DISC BRAKE

Are you also running the OEM rotors? I've seen some in the GS forums saying those can be the culprit.

I bought it used with 51xxx miles on it. I think they are OEM but they could have been swapped.

Best guess they are OEM but IMO, cast iron is cast iron. I see drive habits and pads playing 95% of the role here.
