Default 2011 IS250 110K Maintenance Question

I bought a 2011 IS250 with 105K this past Spring, and from the maintenance records it looks like the previous owner hit all the scheduled maintenance times up to and including the 90K service. After that he did the 5k oil changes and installed a new battery and tires before he sold it to me. I had it checked by a 3rd party mechanic before purchase and to my regular mechanic after I had it a few weeks. Both said the car was in fine shape. I am at 110K and planning to get an oil change, but my concern is the 105K maintenance, since he just got an oil change. Are there drive and timing belts that need to be changed? Or should I be good with a simple oil and filter change with this mileage?

I had a timing belt break on a Toyota Tercel many years ago, and do not want to go through that again. Is this a concern for an IS250? I have read online that IS's do not have traditional timing belts but drive chains, so they may not need replacing at 100K. Is this true?

I do know I should get major maintenance at 120K, which looks like it will take care of a lot of items. I hope to keep this marvelous car for many miles, or be able to trade up keeping the value. My only disappointment is that it is not a Mark Levinson, but does have the higher end audio with 13 speakers.

Welcome to ClubLexus! You need to spend time reading your owners manual for the recommended services on which mileage milestones. No need to worry about something breaking on your IS.

Were the spark plugs changed at 60,000 miles?

Timing chain, not timing belt in the engine.

I have a 2011, too, but RWD. I got the rear diff fluid changed at 60,000 mile service.

Carbon build-up is a big issue, so you have to figure out how you want to deal with that.
