My touch screen recently went out on my 2006 is250 and from what forums said the problem was the digitizer. got a new digitizer and installed into the nav unit and all went good, all the pins were connected on the ribbon connectors, and everything is plugged in. put it all back together and plugged everything back into the radio and nav unit. then when i power it on the screen remains black and does not turn on. the security still light blinks and hazards work. there’s no beep when pressing any of the buttons on the nav unit. any ideas? i have un plugged and replugged everything over and over , even took the nav unit apart again and made sure everything was connected but had so luck.

From my understanding, the digitizer is the part that recognizes finger presses, not the screen part that displays things.

i know that , my touch screen had gone out but screen still worked , i replaced the digitizer and screen stays black

I’m having the same exact issue. I also can’t turn on my air conditioning which is killing me. Any solution?
