Smile installing wireless carplay

I own 2019 Lexus Is 300 awd fsport with **** with 3 buttons
https://www.alibaba.com/product-deta...1a742fc2QShNQj
I found this one from the Alibaba.
I was just wondering is this legit and anyone know better one? maybe cheaper.
I'm okay as long as I can see Wayze or google map on my screen.

All these aftermarket CarPlay systems are a hit or miss. BeatSonic is USA based, so customer service will be better than a model from overseas.

I've had my Lexion unit for a few years with no issues. Boots up quickly, wired and wireless, 10.25 inch screen.
Used to be two separate units, now it only has one.

I've installed lexion few days ago on my 2014 is250, also they sent me a front camera that activates automatically with radar parking or speed, and works great. Reccomended too

I would love to have a front camera. Great you have it now. Lexion for the win.

I wonder if a front camera is something I could add on to my Lexion unit.

Hi Jazzrock, yes you can but you need to buy CSP switch below and tap the brown wire reverse signal to make it work with Lexion. Unfortunately you probably don’t want to DIY, although I did it myself.

That's the one I saw. You're correct that I won't attempt it myself, my friend. Is there room to put this switch somewhere with my having the Lexion units already? CarPlay is still working fine, I'm happy to say.

Yup, there’s some room switch isn’t that big it will go behind the screen. You will also need to poke a hole in firewall grommet to route the camera av cable to back of the screen. I had already done all this before I had Lexion so it was an easy attempt, I just had to figure out reverse signal on Lexion connector because bearsonic needs to senses this signal in order for it to work. If you do go back to your installer you’ll have to explain what needs to be done.

The Beatsonic unit, plus a camera, plus installation is over $700. Too expensive for me. Too bad.

i dont know wich version of lexion do you have, mine its only one device, no separated as usually, and have a connector to put the front camera, dont need any switch because gets activated or by park radar, or by speed, you can choose on settings wich one qorks for you, if car speeds goes down 6mph front camera activates automatically, and after 10mph gets deactivated

CarLinkit or RoadTop are great alternatives. Sometimes, cheaper works better!
