IS 300 LSD Fluid
Hi guys i have 2018 is300 2.0l RWD
I noticed it doesn't mention what differential fluid it takes?
i did the GL5-75W-85 LT
and when I checked the rear wheel while the car on jack both wheels turns same direction not the opposite as it should for open differential!
my question is, whether my car is LSD so I should put differential fluid GL5-75W-85 LX?
thank you

Depends on the type, clutch type LSD differentials need a friction modifier. (I like Motorcraft XL-3 ) A Torsen differential or gear type that is offered in the 350 and 500 (maybe the 300?) will not require an additive. This alone wouldn't affect the weight of oil needed.
