I think that might be a typo, but I know for sure the 8" speaker can not fit in the rear door unless we have to cut and do modifications to the door because I have my swap out speaker is 6.5" size speaker

They are 8" one audio and they are squeezed in their its not a typo. All 4 doors have them. Tweeters are also one audio 2 pairs in the car. 3.5 inch wideband in the dash. Fi 10" subs and down for sound jp 77 amp with xs power titan 5 lithium equals better then stock! There was no cutting the back door. Although the rear deck was cut for the sub box porting into cabin. Yes this was a huge install and definitely custom but the 8" do fit without any door cutting or major mods.

wow that interesting, look like they use the front door speaker bracket and used to install on the back door location? Because from the close up picture that look like the front door 8" speaker

Very well could be it's at a shop I just get pictures. I did not do any of this myself, although i did purchase all the speakers.
Maybee this one? Looks like he made a custom holder that fit the same as the factory bracket. That's the original speaker in comparison for size.

thanks for info, do you use the factory amp or aftermarket amp to run all the new speakers upgrade? Do you your system is ML or just regular?

It was the garbage regular system. It has been replaced with a jp 77 amplifier, audio control dqx and lc8i. 4 one audio eight inch midbass in the door. 3.5" in dash and 1" tweeters to paillar and back door.

That awesome man, I just swap out the dash speakers and two rear door speakers on my 23" IS, the sound clarity just a little better but the sound still no good compare to my previous 07 IS that came with the ML system

So just to confirm, can I put the following:

front center 4
fronts 6.75
rear 6.75

Would these fit without modification or would I need a bracket for mounting
