Default F Sport to "New" F Sport Conversion

The IS (and RC) appear to retain the previous version of the F Sport seats compared to the rest of the Lexus lineup. I'm not sure if anyone else has thought about it, but I really want to add the newer seats to my current IS later down the line. These seats would probably be a sidegrade (in terms of bolstering) to the current ones, but they look way better IMO. I honestly thought about waiting to make this post until I could actually afford them and then post under build threads. But no gatekeeping here and I wanted to hear everyone else's thoughts.

On the topic of "F Sport conversion", I also thought about swapping the IS brake setup for the 14" setup from the GS/RC F Sport & IS500 since it would also be cheaper than going to the F brake setup. Would this be worth it or is it just another expensive sidegrade/marginal upgrade?

You could definitely swap the headrests easily - might be a nice touch. But as for the whole seat? Eh.

I think the original seats flow better with the horizontal lines matching the interior dash board lines, the new f sport lines on the seat are more vertical. Would be an expensive upgrade

You’d have to get the seats from a salvage yard unless you’re made of money. Each individual piece of the seat is hundreds of dollars. Headrests were around 400 each. Bottom cushion a few hundred. Back cushion a few hundred. The rear plastic piece is expensive. There’s the whole heating and cooking assemblies. Airbags. Plus various other assemblies. What we call a seat is actually lots of components sold separately. And if you watch a video taking it apart and reassembling is a ton of labor.
