2014 F Sport -- Dual LED headlights.

had a bad rain storm a few weeks ago. after starting up my car the next morning the passenger headlight (low beam) came on, flickered then shut off. immediately "Check Headlight System" popped up.

before I sink $3-400+ on a used unit, i'm curious if anyone tried replacing the LED Ballast Control Module inside the headlight.

Not the actual LED bulb but the control module that's screwed into the housing and has had success getting it working again.

my thoughts are that since it happened after a bad storm it could potentially be water damaged.

Hi, did you replace the ballast? I'm about to try this. Went with a ebay aftermarket ballast. Planning on swapping the high beam ballast for the lowbeam. Need to confirm they are the same.
