Default smaller Wheels with a fatter sidewall recommendations

I can't stand the stock F. Sport rims. This is my 7th flat in 2 years and two bent rims. I am looking to go to a smaller wheel with a fatter sidewall. Does anyone have any recommendations or what is the largest sidewall that can fit on the stock at F sports wheels? 2016 Lexus is300

Has anyone put 225 r45 or r50s upfront?

Interested too. I got over low-profile tires in the early 2000's.

Drop the rim size by 1 or 2 inches and then match with a tire size that gets you the same overall diameter.
That s the best way to accomplish what you want.

Gotta make sure it clears your brakes if you got the Fsport.

I just ordered 225 45 r18 and 255 40 r18. I will let you know how it goes. I was going to go to 50/45 but I think that may be to big for the stock rims. There is a guy here that has them on and said it fits good. If these don't last I will be going to that next.

my winter setup for my 2015 is350 f sport is 17inch 225 45. same for the rear. I bought a set of oem used (fixed and repainted) lexus wheels. No problem clearing the brakes.

Your speedometer reading will be off because of that tire size.

The base 17" wheels fit by the way and they're on 225-45-17
