Where do IS500 calipers stack in the pecking order on these cars? Are they equivalent to GS calipers? Are they the same as 21+ IS350 calipers? I kinda want to throw them on my 2019 IS300 but not sure about rotors and fitment etc or if it is even a bother.

They are equivalent to GS 350 F Sport calipers, and they are not the same ones you find on other 2021+ IS models.

Side-by-side you can see the IS 500 calipers have the Lexus logo and are glossy black, compared to the matte black calipers on the 350.




The main concern you'd have is the caliper and wheel spokes not touching. I don't know if anyone has tried this yet. But the calipers look to be essentially the same size.

I know with caliper swaps like ISF, use GS rotors, so I kinda put these in a similar camp.

Yes, they will fit as they both share the same knuckle.

Is this a good upgrade or more "show" (zero worries/complaints if it is)? I am guessing it should be a four corner job to make sure you dont mess up bias? Or am I overly complicating the thoughts?

It is literally the same caliper. It’s for show as it’s painted from factory.
