Default Front and rear diff service

Hello everyone, I have a AWD 2021 IS350 Fsport. I was wondering if anyone has serviced their diffs at all? I have seen videos online of RWD IS350’s and it looks simple, is an AWD car similar?
Thanks everyone for your time!!!

I took my car to Lexus for the transmission, front and rear diffs, cost $400
I’ve seen videos on YouTube, rear diff looks really easy to do, front is also simple but the oil the manual said to use was very hard to find, also expensive. Transmission oil is more complicated I’m comfortable with. Therefore I just let the dealer handle it all. No regrets.

Thank you very much for the reply. The transmission is something I will for sure not touch, so I might as well just have the shop do the diff’s also.

Check your owner’s manual for that front diff oil specification. People en up using the wrong oil.

Sean101112,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but on the 2021 IS 350 AWD, the transfer case is part of the transmission, and thus shares ATF fluid, correct?

The front diff oil is not atf, it’s separate from the transmission oil.
